Not my handy work, but Mr Hides, He very kindly offered these to me a couple of years ago at a price really too good to turn down. I've tweaked them a tad, addedd the banners and musician and painted over the pink etc. To be honest, it's this purchase that led to the development of the scenario that I'm running with at BOYL this year

I picked it up from these folks - https://only-games.co/products/dark-desires-ritual, pretty self explanatory I think. I'm looking at it as a act of ritual to call forth dark powers! Works for me

Sexuality is a central part of humans, weither it's sexual acts or not. compared to victorians, people these days can be very prudist about sexuality and nudity.. and victorian's weren't all that open.

Dark magic rites and folklore is full of sex and stuff. nothing wrong with that.. nothing even explicit in that figure.

Besides, we are still stuck in a world where violence and gore are okay for kids, but signs of love are taboo.

That is a brilliant horde of daemons, like Fimm implied I'm loosing track of just how huge your daemon pile is now! I very much like the brighter and contrasting colours, much more fun and daemonic than I see from the 'off the shelf' paint jobs in White Dwarf and so forth in more recent years.

The previously posted more NSFW piece is cool, looks very like like an oil painting in its own right. Very much in the spirit of Slaanesh.

I deleted my earlier comment, as I thought the post had disappeared, but I really do like that dark ritual model. It's very much in keeping with the theme of the army and it makes great sense. And it's a heck of a model to boot. Well done!

But yes, unexpected is a very good way to put it.
