It is an Chronicle model (hobbit slicer N14) , one of Nick Lunds finest which will be joining my ogres, the others are Trollkin, from the Runequest boxes 1 & 2, if I recall correctly, which will be joining my trolls, as their considerably smaller than the rest of my trolls, they'll play the part of youngster, hence two of them on the base.

Sorry Fimm, but we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one, those Chronicle Black Orcs just hit all the right notes for me, as to what a big orc should be, particularly the guard figure, hunched over, gripping his spear - as sweet as a nut in my opinion. I'll give you that other figures, I could happily leave on the shelf - the trolls being one, but the ogres and orcs

Correct sir, there's also five original pre-slotta Golgfag ogres, a pre-slotta troll from the FT range, a Olgg-hai troll from the LOTR range, half a doxen Kevin Adams ogres, and then we get into a couple of figures where I'm not certain without referencing back to SOL.

When I purchased this figure I received two, so it seems a waste to just stuff it into my spares box just to have it break (resin ), so I've splashed a little paint over the spare so at it'll now sit on a shelf or in a box.

Ok, I admit it, I am just a bit jealous that there is no official "King of the Lead of the Lead Pile" miniature for me to paint

Hey, who else is going to do it, if, I don't? I've no issue with self indulgance, as long as I can laugh at it.

The trolls will play the part of a family/tribe (numnbers currently stand at just over forty figures!) caught in the wrong place, at the wrong time, who's basic aim will be to get the kids off the table without getting into too much trouble!

The ogres are playing the part of mercenaries waiting for payment and their next job, whilst wetting their thirst at the local inn and if a 'willing' ogre wants to join their ranks - the more the merrier! Both groups are NPC's until someone offers to take them in hand.

^When is BOYL 2023, anyway? Looked at Foundry's site and didn't see a date and didn't see a thread here yet either.

You have got a table for this, right? Just I know Saturday tables are already fully booked and there was a lot of competition for the big tables. I imagine you'd need the directors' table just to fit everything in!
