You have got a table for this, right? Just I know Saturday tables are already fully booked and there was a lot of competition for the big tables. I imagine you'd need the directors' table just to fit everything in!

All booked and planned out for a 8 x 4 as I want the chaos player able to travel the length of the table in the first two days (six to seven feet) and able to commune with his gods on the last day, the director tables would leave too much to chance.

Ah good. Wouldn't want you stranded with lots of miniatures but no table. We'd have to take them to play on the Little Stoke battlefield!

Aha! Is that from Mike by any chance?
They are indeen sir, one of a pair I picked up from him at Newbury last year, to join my slowly growing chaos army 8-) . Still very much an WIP experiment colour wise, but that's the joy of chaos, perrty much anything goes!

To fit with your chaos army something need only be painted in vibrant colour! Tick. :)

Who wants to run with uniformity when you're painting a chaos army and on that point, here's a few pictures of what I splashed a little colour over during for my March entry for the Old World Army Challenge and a few other bits and pieces. Suggest you check out the Blog to see how everyones doing.

To those of you who have expressed an interest in this vanity project, sincere apologies - Alas, it looks as though I won't be able to bring this game to BOYL this year, as I'm waiting for confirmation of my hip replacement surgery. I'm effectively an invalid, unable to easily access my collection of figures, terrain etc from my storage area (attic). Even if, it was to happen soon (July), given the planned re-cuperation period (six to eight weeks) I'm still looking at possibly being on clutches possibly well into August!

I'm still looking at attending BOYL and joining in with other's participation games, without carrying a vast amount of lead to Stoke Hall, happy to carry a couple of hundred figures.

Apologies once again, maybe next year.

Oh nasty.. Lucky it is something you can have surgery for, so that's good. Hopefully you'll get it and recover soon.

Be well mighty Warlord! I wish I could make it to Stoke at all this year, so I'm more than a little jealous. I will be back and I will eventually bring toys, but . . . we can't make it all the time and as others have said, sometimes things are more important than little lead people.

Just make sure they don't make that piratical cyber-hip out of lead. I know we all love the stuff, but there are limits.

Good luck on the hip replacement surgery. My mom had one last year and recovered surprisingly quick for being as frail as she is.
