it's a bit of a shame, and a surprise, that although rogue trader included rules for jokaero making new things out of old, it said nothing about their creation of digital weapons. rules can be bodged, of course.
here're are the next couple. no rhyme or reason to how many i'm attempting at a time at the moment. the last one (or two, depending on perspective) with the plasma gun (and needle pistol) was a new, pristine figure, as is the one with flight pack below, whereas the autogun armed chap was already painted in unmodified form.
i didn't make any changes to the sculpt for the painted one, just added more equipment and painted that separately. his duplicate got a head swap and had his hand opened up to accept the missile launcher.
the flying one has a lasgun, kindly provided by inchmurrin.
i'm now half way through in terms of figures to paint (7 of 14), and just over half way in terms of individuals in the group (8 of 15). as such i thought i'd indulge in a photo. of the jokaero so far.
the blanket roll (cameleoline cloak) is from scotia grendal, as is most of the belt equipment on all the figures supplemented here and there with some frostgrave plastic.
hope you can see them okay, and enjoy them.
