The grand army of King Bruno the Questionable (Bretonnia)

Like a dog I'm staring at the front door awaiting the postman. Looks like today is not my day, no delivery and I don't get to bite anybody. Gutted.

Quick snack then back to painting, it's a bit cloudy so I can paint without getting my eyes melted by the sun.

It's raining!!! Thank the gods. Now I'm not malfunctioning more than a Tesla I can get some painting done. 80 pairs Bretonnian shoes are not going to paint themselves no matter how much I glare at them.

I really struggle when it comes to finishing the fiddly small bits like belts and pouches, I loose all motivation for some reason. But at least I've nearly finished 7 units, that's more than I had painted a month ago. 👍

I think my Brets need a champion armed with a Chainsword arm, a shotgun and a damn fine jawline.

a muskrat Tesla. the original company's work before he brought into it had some half decent work but then, the creators of the company were tech guys who could both run it and help with design and manufacture.. kinda two different companies.. of course, Poor Nikola's name is now mud.. but atleast that's better then the companies.

we have a big storm last night. no rain today apart from some misty stuff

Sounds groovy.
Found my old Necromunda conversion of him, gonna repurpose him for fantasy, boomsticks a bit too big so that needs swapping. Got some dead man's hand shottys somewhere that would look better.

Also found my Frank Sidebottom and Toxic Avenger conversions, toxies mop handle broke though :(

can't say I really know him.. probebly too modern for me. I think the last new film I saw was.. The Peanuts Movie. Not as bad as I could have been, but awful name (Charles Shultz hated 'Peanuts' as the name that was forced on the strip (it was reference to the TV show 'Howdy Doody', and when ever he had the option, refused it's use. Which is why none of the TV specials, Books, Movies, TV shows or anything during his life time used it. Next film I think I'm gonna watch when I get around to it is Det Sjunde Inseglet from 1957 (English title 'The Seventh Seal'). Swedish film with English Subtitles.

As far as I'm aware there isn't any major changes between 4th-5th rules wise? So I could get away with using the 5th ed Bretonnian book in 4th? Always was a spesh muhreens fanboy as a kid so I wasn't paying much attention to the fantasy changes between editions.

pretty much. As I understand it, they did reissue the same armies books for 5th. Maybe the odd tweak but nothing I know of short of some added photo pages and 'sample armies' which the 4th didn't have.

Oh whilst we're talking about films, avoid the Amazon War of the Worlds with iced beverage in it, whole film was a giant Amazon advert, special effects were poor, the best bit was when ice cube said 'move bitch get out the way' I was like 'oh he referenced that song he did over 30 years ago'.

Rant over. *Breathes heavily into paper bag*

Sweet, I can play through the Circle of Blood campaign now without having to buy more books. Just need to build a river, bridge, graveyard, chapel, lake, few hills... AHH that will be easy.

In actual Bretonnian news I've built the first 4 Questing Knights/chevaliers de notre dame de bataille, and slapped a base coat on two. Had a few days off from painting, started feeling like a chore and motivation is low so I'm binge watching X files. Totally forgot how bad ass Skinner is, still think Mulders chin looks weird.
