Rogue Trader Goodies

The Inquisitor looks superb like that. The face sculpt on that model is quite poor (imo) but what you've done really makes the model pop and then some!

Loving the Ambull. He really looks alive. Nice skin colour used. The inquisitor colour scheme is perfect. He kind of reminds me of the movie version of a Sardaukar trooper from Dune.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the positive feedback. Just a reminder that I plan on bringing my Rogue Trader collection to Oldhammer Day USA, so...... if ye be a colonial, swing by and play!

I might be able to get a few test games in this weekend on a custom board we are working on. I'll take pictures.

Hey everyone, just finished another great classic Genestealer Cult mini. I think this is also a Bob Olley sculpt.

Anyways, he will make a great adversary to the Inquisitor.

He looks fantastic! I look forward to seeing your goodies in person in Baltimore!

Cheers,

Absolutely! I'm trying to churn out as much RT stuff as I can without losing my mind.... also the Dark Elves are whispering evil things in my ear....

Must.... focus.

Another cool addition to the thread :)

The magus looks great. Does he have any mates or is he planning to overthrow the foolish humans on his own ;)

He in fact does have a few..... hopefully I will have some done this weekend.

There may even be a pointy-headed mutant cultist with bulging eyes, as seen in the RT rulebook...

Nice one, I love Thudd guns.
When I painted mine, I almost decided not to put the gunner on the machine but wasn't able to resist in the end.
The other bloke, did you find his face a real pain to paint? I did.

So, what happens when a Genestealer Patriarch and a 4th Generation Magus hit the town in coven limo?

Let's find out....

Patriarch asks "Who's your daddy?"

Here's a big-headed rogue Psyker to add to the growing ranks of the cult.

Six more cultists, including one with bulging eyes and pointed head mutation (for shits and giggles). Please excuse Tpr Bush's low cut shirt... ever since they turned to worshipping Slaanesh she's displayed a remarkable lack of good judgement.

Finally... a hint about what the Patriarch has been up to, and why an Inquisitor has been dispatched to investigate a mysterious rash of hooker disappearances :o

Yes his face was a pain. Its just his nose and the beard is oddly positioned. I still have to get around to painting the loader.

Oh, man, you make them look easy to paint. I love how you bring them back to life with that personal style. :)

This looks so awesome.

Could you please share the colours for your cultist uniforms? My Genestealer Cult project really ended when I could not get the colours to work for me.

Sure. I used current GW and Vallejo Model Color.

GW Colors:
Fatigues/Genestealer Flesh: Daemonette Hide
Flak Vests/Pouches/Boots/Helmets: Balor Brown
Genestealer Carapace/Blue Accents: Altdorf Guard Blue
Metals: GW Boltgun or equivalent, highlighted with chainmail equivalent

Washes:
GW Purple, GW Agrax Earthshade, Vallejo Black Wash

Highlights are built up by add VMC pale sand to the base color. Most highlights are 3-4 layers

Hybrid flesh: VMC Old Rose 039, washed with GW Ogryn Flesh, Highlighted up to pure GW Elf Flesh only at the most extreme highlights in order to emphasize the pink.
