(I'm actually planning to paint one on the lid of my harpsichord. It needs to be refinished, and I think a local monster, fit for a fantasy army, would be absolutely perfect. I think I'll probably go closer to Jolliet's original drawing, which is indeed much more like the "Underwater Panther" than the modern recreation on the bluff. But . . . the painting on the bluff would work fire too.)
Anyway, yes, the wings came out quite well. Great monster!
