Boyl 16 Rise of Morcar, or HeroQuest the battle or BFFG

It's all a bit unclear what's happening where at the moment. I'm hoping the website will pop up soon and make it all come into focus, I'm sure I must be double-booked somewhere. :) Once we can see what's crossing over with what I think more people will be up for committing.

If I can bring the trees I will. :)

Sevens enough, especially if we share the burden of moving kit & rolling dice etc.But a few more to share the experience of playing a large game wouldn't go a miss. Especially as I think I'll be providing five armies of about three thousand point - Orcs, Goblins, Empire & Barbarians with Giants & Ogre allies and the occasional Troll! So, come on people, what would you care to use?

Put the toys on the table and hopefully people will be up for stepping in. Part of the hesitation is always not wanting to get tied down to a prolonged game (siege anyone) that means you miss the other things that are happening, but if you can join in for a few turns and leave if needs be (run off the table or summat) that's ok. We tried having spare ships around for the ahoy game last year with the caveat that you could sail back off the table at any point, but either people didn't know they could just grab a spare ship or didn't want to. Stuff sitting there looking good is fine as well though, and it's a good motivator to actually paint something!
 
Hi all

I'm busy working on the BOYL site at the moment - I'm not sure I have a good description of what is going on with this game (for the purposes of a website).

Could someone please send me a write up of what the scenario is. Perhaps some fiction, some rules or some reason for the factions to be involved. Also, ideally, I'd love some pictures. For examples, take a look at http://www.bringoutyourlead.co.uk - the Inquisitor Cynole game is a really good example of what works. Happy for you to post it here, or PM me for my email address if you'd rather do that.

That site looks great. :) Just a quickie, could the timings of each game be on the initial scroll-through image? Would make it quicker working out what to fit in. :)

Cheers - There's still a lot of work to be done (and as usual I'm much later than I'd like with a lot less time than I'd like - lesson for next year!), but I still plan to put the actual schedule with links to the different events on it - that's why I'm loading the events first. Hopefully that will be there for the end of the day. But - a good idea to put the schedule on the slider - I'll do that too.

This is such a great idea Fimm, I'm sure everyone would love yo to do this!
 
Oh my word yes, but what size is he gonna be? You should him Nagash sized so he can have a scrap with him and kick Coco in the BEEPING BEEPS!

Except I don't know anyone with the original Coco.

I did consider doing him as an alternative Nagash sculpt... but from the size of the skulls behind him he's not that much larger than a normal human. Maybe the community should decide, what's best do you think? Set up a poll maybe?

Who said they weren't giant's skulls?

Plus, maybe he's so kick as he can be any size he likes in a Greater Daemon in Warhammer and 40k Vs a Greater Daemon in Epic.

There we go, if the bad guys manage to summon Morcar, Fimm can get on the table dressed as the big bad and stomp all over the good guys. Things just got very serious for our collections. And also very silly.
