Assorted Minis

and a few Bounty hunters/Scum and assassin

I have a few other things to throw in there as well, such as a few weirds, (mostly wizrards/necromancer models), the two dreadnoughts (now painted) and a couple of black Space Crusade genestealer models for the monster scenario.

edit:  nice on Finkels!

Apologies Bluey, my usually excellent memory failed me there in regards to your current location, and I remember now

Good stuff mate, nice and eclectic mixes too.

Another Ganger ticked off the to do list...

Jes Goodwin Space amazons, the mere idea of it is enough for me. Just add your loveley painting on top of it and I'm all sold. I really like the yellow for the armour parts and your face expressions are really good as always.
Do yo uplan on making a whole gang or are these just for fun (I suspect the former considering Bluey and the captain are in the game...)

I'm off to chase some of them now

Thanks mate, the colour scheme is actually straight off of the box (bases too)...I suppose it's fitting I ended up with chicks with guns considering all the barbarian babes for my dungeon crawling thing.

I've worked out a gang roster of 9, pitting them against Crooksie's Orlocks would definitely be the end goal.

I came across this guy in the pile the other night and one thing lead to another...
Magus_zpsb9e2fef9.jpg

Though I've had this mini for about 4 years, only when I went to paint him did I notice he had no nose, or rather he had a flat, round pancake where his nose should have been  (no wonder I got him cheap)
My extremely limited greenstuff skills were put to use and I gave him a new honker, unfortunately it's a bit rough but it will do.
On a happier note I'm extremely proud of how the freehand flames and cult symbol turned out!
I couldn't get the yin-yang symbol in there though, that was too much

While I was at it I redid the base and touched up my Patriach...I believe I may have become infected and might have to start painting the rest of my Cult

The magus is reaally good, you did great on those freehands, a red to yellow blending at this scale is quite something. The stealer foetus symbol is absolutely great too, did you use a pencil first or was it pure freehand ?
With A patriarch and a maus you know you have no choice but spread the infection now...

Cheers man, I hadn't thought to use a pencil
I managed to do it without any "framework"...just aped off this guy

vintage banner too

That vintage banner is a sterling example of it's kind  surely it has travelled the breadth of the galaxy and been soaked in the blood of the emperor's enemies time and again...

Those space crusade marines look so good, they make me want to get some too!

Indeed it has, and after surviving unscathed for 21 years it accidently got soaked in super glue last night when butter fingers squeezed a bit hard!
Turned out OK though, it sort of looks like it's been stitched back together in places now.

The SC marines are nice and chunky, do yourself a favour ;)

Cheers mate :)

Keeping with the Blood Angel theme, here's a Captain

These guys aren't showing up as orange as they are in the flesh unfortunately...

Still not sure how you manage to make such models look good... I would have committed suicide a dozen of times in the process. I really like this deep red you use instead of th eRT orange or the ferrari red they used afterwards in 2nd ed. Yours have this particular "transition" vibe from between RT and 2nd ed which is delicious. The faces are very nice like most have mentionned. You're starting to have a good BA force now, throw a dreadnought in a a speeder and it's good ! are you going for 2nd ed vehicles as well ?

Thanks JB, they are actually more orangey than they look in the photos.
I'm a glutton for punishment, after 22 of those plastic Goffs and 26 of the Gretchin a handful of marines isn't going to kill me...I hope.
While not the best minis, I feel obligated to get all these plastics out of the way- I want to get the full compliment of the 2nd ed box and Space Crusade painted.

Plenty more Blood Angels to come, I have a RT Rhino still in the box that I'm going to tackle and I'm already working on the Dreadnought
