For el cheapo minis, they sure come out well I think, especially the chaos marines.

Since Im on a bit of a space crusade binge, I decided to slap up 8 of the Orks with a pretty basic paintjob

And I am now working on 14 (of 40) of these lovely little grots to use instead of the giant gretchin plastics the game came with.

The mob of 40 will one day end up in my Snakebite army (which I wont be starting to paint anytime soon)

Inspired by the fantastic work posted here, Ive taken the plunge and gotten myself back into Heroquest.

So this chap arrived in the mail yesterday and I went straight to work on him (all other minis in my collection are filthy over this )

Resembling Conan as he does, nothing less than my best effforts have gone into painting him and Im chuffed with the result.

When I receive and paint more (heroquest set, more fighters, barbarians etc) Ill start a thread in the showroom.

A couple of days ago I found a Escher Gang boxed set that I thought I'd lost/left behind when I had to move last year, which was really cool.
So I guess I've got my fingers in another pie now, because I've since undercoated them, finished the leader am working on another ganger

There's a really stupid story as to how I ended up with these actually, I was having a few drinks with my brother and later that night I was showing him ebay on my account since he'd never gone there before...his missus has an Escher gang and he was excited to see the box (auction) and I insisted that he should just put a bid down because "there's no way that bid is going to win"... when I checked in the next day, it had indeed won.
Funny thing is I don't particularly like Escher all that much and would have gone Goliath or the baldy guys if I was actually planning on getting into it.

What gangs do you have el Capo?

I have my Orlocks... only proper gang i ever had, though i have a group of Arbites for those times when you gotta call the po-po. We had some good times, but Necromunda is a cruel mistress, and often treated my boys poorly. My leader nearly always dies the final death in round one and my heavy has been leader more times than not...
