The last step in building the fifth module is gluing the tiles and filling the gaps with self-hardening clay.

good to see progress being made.

^That's coming along very well indeed! :)
Thank you. :)

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 25.

I am slowly approaching the middle of the first stage of work. I have started the construction of the sixth module, which will include two models of Lasercut Buildings representing warehouses or other granaries.

The sides of the module are traditionally lined with plaster elements from Rotten Factory.

Oh, that's looking fabulous! I think even without a lick of paint on it, and it looks the part. Well done! (Or well doing, I suppose.)

coming on very nicely. i'm looking forward to the first painted images.
Thank you very much. I will not paint until all modules are built. While painting, I often experiment and later have problems with repeating some of the effects.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 29.

The last stage of building the sixth module is making tiles and filling the gaps with self-hardening clay.

Halfway through the first stage, work behind me!

Looking great. Could I suggest trying to play a game with what you have made so far? It could be that play testing on them reveals some hitherto unforeseen negative traits to the stuff you have built or the layout or perhaps suggest some changes for the future modules. Even if it is as simple as a base not fitting in a particular stair or too many open sight lines.

Thank you very much for your comment and valuable advice. We will definitely check the table a few times.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 30.

A week ago, on the blog, you could see photos of the completed sixth module of the table with the ruins of Mordheim, and today I have for you the first photos of the seventh module on which I placed the ruined Granary model from Lasercut Studio and the drain grate from Black Grom Studio.

The sides of the module are plaster casts of elements for Rotten Factory, and the lamps are a set bought on Allegro and connected to the battery from the LED candle.

Oh, absolutely epic! This may be my new favorite Mordheim table when it's done, and there have been some fantastic Mordheim tables on here. That chaos whirlpool of power will look fantastic in that context. From above it looks like fairly standard modern GW stuff, but from the side, surrounded by crumbling buildings, it looks like a random bit of collapsed debris. And I'm REALLY dying to see all the lighting at work. Fabulous!

In the next step, I covered the walls with bricks cut from cork and glued other plaster elements from Rotten Factory..
