Now talking bases .... you may remember these from last years "The night of the living Lead" game:

My pumpkin objective markers:

I also painted up some graves I already had:

This year I went back to the same folks who did the pumpkin bases as they do some very nice resin Graveyard bases ..... or as I like to think of them "unit fillers ans objective markers.

Cavalry bases:

Monster bases:

and they do a dozen smaller 20mm bases ... but you get the idea.

I also dug out and painted some old Citadel graveyard minis I had:

Some gravestones:

Some graves and a tomb:

and these Gravestones .... which I have painted a few of to use as Waystones/boundry markers like my Dwarf ones.

Sorry for all the back to back posts (and any repetition from other threads I have started) This is the thread where post everything I have done ... and it has not been updated for a while now. Sitting around om the sofa recovering from New Year celebrations .... not up to much else so taking the opportunity to sort out and upload a bunch of pictures I have not had time to get around too.

Happy New Year folks.

and a couple more ...
(Old Citadels again).

This one very one million years BC

Here are all three girls together:

The female barbarian with body paint has aged really well - still a good pose and nicely proportioned - something that's rare in a figure of her vintage!

Lovely brushwork on them all...I confess the lovely blue has me sold on the butterfly knight :)

Although she has 80's Fantasy Breasts - something that is less rare on a figure of her vintage.

GW "Enchanted Blue" .... I saw another on e-bay the other day ... nearly bought it. It went cheap ... it is not something you would notice unless you were looking for one. The plastic butterfly cost pence.

A couple more Barbarians....

Another early Citadel ... (Needs a shield)

I have ... but you have not seen the half of it yet. I have finished the bases most of those Bretonnians .... photos to follow.

The butterfly knight and the blue painted lady are both truly lovely . . . in very different ways. (Though sharing an affection for blue.) Love the viking with the long blonde braid. And the Citadel lady with no shield looks . . . damned uncomfortable in those pants. Little cold this time of year for some of those costumes. Maybe someone famous for being famous will give one of them his coat. Excellent work, all.

@Bruno ... I was pleased with Tiger stripes girl. She worked out very well. I might try something like that on other barbarians.

@symphonic ... Many thanks ... Its not the pants ... it's the chain mail vest top that is chafing something terrible.

the difference in sculpt quality is amazing... a couple of those are beautiful miniatures, a couple are rubbish. but your paint jobs are great!
