This week I have mostly been painting ....

...and here are all the fantasy adventurer, Fantasy tribe, C- series Fighters I have painted so far:

Spotted this fella I have not posted yet.
Started a while ago but finished and based along with these other fighters:
One of my favorite Barbarians ... very Conan!

I have just started a new thread ...'' 'Ere be dragons" .... with the same idea as my 'Ere be Giants' thread.
As I come to the end of the Giants .... it seems like the next best thing to do:

This is the Robo dragon from the Excellent Reaper BONES Kickstarter:

... and here it is with some paint on ... WIP:

Here is my 'Counts as' idea for Robodragon .... he is a steam tank, Right?

I am toying with the idea of putting a cannon in his chest.

Hi Harry ! They look good, you build an army for 3rd ed or the current edition?
(I heard that new the bretonnian book is coming in few weeks)

Now something a little bit different .... and a little bit little:

These are some brilliant little sculpts from the talented hands of Kev White at Hasslefree miniatures.
(If you have not discovered him ... well worth a look)

First saw these on Shas'El Tael's excellent Warhammer Quest Thread.

http://www.warseer.com/forums/showt...en-dungeons-of-old-(large-compilation-images)

Not only had he given these minis an outstanding paint job but he had produced Character cards for them as Warhammer quest cards and written an adventure around them .... wonderful, wonderful stuff ... well worth a look.

What else could I do ... but try to match his paint jobs as closely as possible.

I am pretty happy with these especially given how small these are.

Wow - loving the Robin Hood game - most refreshing to see some good old banditry going on instead of the usual titanic struggle between good and evil!

Speaking of which - imagine that table multiplied by 10 for our Siege game

I presume these are the Merry Men (and Men-at-arms) we'll be seeing at BOYL?

Cracking work as ever on all the other stuff - the Frost Giantess looks very coy but not sure I'd trust a lady of that stature with a club that big ;)

Crikey - I can't keep up with your posts. Slow down so I can compliment you

Nice Dragon too!

One more little guy.

I have no idea who he is ... but he is pre slotta.

Just to carry on the children theme:
Some ancient blobs of lead ... from the Fiend Factory range ... Red Goblin female and children.

I can see I need to work on the eyes a bit more:

I paint the minis I have ... then build armies to play in whatever edition I am playing.
I hate all the min-maxing that goes on.....
.... so obviously my armies are not very competative in most editions.
I just like seeing my painted minis on a table.

Yes, the new Bretonnian book is just weeks away. Some interesting stuff this time around.

Ha! sorry about that. This is six months of post to catch up on.

The siege game will be fantastic, Can't wait.
Yes this is the stuff I mentioned.
I also have some Empire stuff finished so I will bring both.

Thanks for the kind words.

These were some of the scenery bits and objective markers I did for the Christmas game.
(Cast in plaster from an isle of lewis chess set)

Here they are again all based up to match my existing Dwarf scenery:

Some nice dwarfy designs on these. A few holes from my poor casting skills but a bit of overgrown vegitation will hide this and add a bit of age to these.

I also painted this:

It is a resin piece ... I honestly can't remember who made it. I feel like it was part of a graveyard set?

Proud Dad moment.
The following models were painted by my daughter.
She is just nine years old.
I may have sat there giving the odd instruction ... "Give them a wash with this" .... "put some more spots on this one".
But ... these are all her own work....right down to the black eyes!!!
She even matched my bases.

A proud dad you can be ! Can't wait to see what my own children will come up with but you have one talented daughter!

Thanks fellas.

These are not the first thing she has painted ... she has been sitting next to me slapping paint on plastic horses for a while.

Whilst she was painting these ... I painted this:

God, a far cry from my painting at 9. Enamels with no shading or highlights. My Dad would only buy me the primary colours because he said I could mix anything from them. I did manage to persuade him to get me a black and a white. Would take another two years before I got a silver or gold. Hard times.....
