The grand army of King Bruno the Questionable (Bretonnia)

Ben Cat? (Scatman Crothers was Benjamin Crothers) that would be a nice reference but at the same time, I doubt they would do the character right at all.. (some prints of the original film remove the Siamese cat as 'offensive to people who aren't the people it is meant to a parody of').. okay, Starting to get too far off topic now ^_^

Finally got myself a copy of WHFB 3rd ed, took me a while to put the loose pages back in order but now I can start swotting up on the rules. If I can stop looking at all the colour pics of old minis I've not seen in years.
The seller also threw in the 4th ed get you by army list booklet thingy, handy as mines falling apart, pretty chuffed with that actually.

Tried ordering the medieval rabbits beating monks, postage was nearly 20 quid, I'll wait until I can put in a bigger order so I don't get stung on postage. Nothing to report on the painting front, been busy playing Darktide, gotta get those 40'000 kills!!

Starting to get too far off topic now ^_^
I'm guilty of derailing topics so I can't complain, I don't mind a bit of movie banter anyway, I spend more time watching films with director and cast commentary on than off these days (unless it involves Rob Zombie).

I love watching the behind the scenes stuff with Rob Bottin when he made The Thing, but I am a sucker for practical effects, I love a good rubber monster.

Was a good read that. Can't wait to paint my Jabberwock when it gets here.

Found the post for madness in Mordheim, never occurred to me that people would go nuts there. Bit late for input now but the madness rules in the Mothership RPG might be worth looking at.

Ral Partha shipped my Jabberwock so that should be here tomorrow. Yay.

@MichaelStockin read the magic rules a few times earlier this morning, got the hang of it now, found the missing page with how many magic points Wizards start with. I ended up stapling the loose pages into lil booklets so they don't get mixed up again.
Love the shield wall and tortoise rules, nice seeing the lance/arrowhead formations were a thing back then as well. I think I'm gonna enjoy 3rd.

Here is a female halfling rider:

You will need to sort a mount.

She's perfect!! I got a smol pony sized Unicorn of @ManicMan that's perfect for her.

Oh yea, now Wargames Atlantic have dropped their mounted Halflings I wanna do a pint sized Bret army. Looks like I'll be buying that smaller scale plastic castle after all.
One day I'll get around to greenskins.

I'm also thinking about hiding my Bret's for a bit so I can concentrate on painting my Undead, all these quartered colours are driving me mad, it's never ending. Is my own fault for working on 4 Bretonnian armies at once, King Bruno's lot, a Holy Order army just for Undead smashing, Mousillion guys pre shenanigans and old Citadel/foundry chaps, 5 if you count the Halflings.
Gonna look good when it's finally finished.

At least it's not your cats butt hole that made you think of me.

Jabberwock turned up half hour ago, my order was only updated to shipped this morning, guess paying first class shipping was worth it.
Already prepped and glued, gonna prime the bad boy now. Got all my green, brown and yellow paints ready, no plans on how I'm painting it, just gonna wing it and see what happens.
Oooooo fun times. 😁
