The grand army of King Bruno the Questionable (Bretonnia)

Electric ran out yesterday, I tried painting by candlelight. My logic was 'well if monks can make beautiful scripture by candlelight then I can paint a mini'.

Nope, bad idea, looks like I painted it with my feet and I've burnt most of the hairs off my arm. 😆


Turns out there's gonna be another Robin Hood TV show, I dislike it already, last good thing Sean Bean was in was Sharpe.
K-Pop Demon Hunters was okay, no Grey Knights in it though so I'm a bit sad, don't think I'm the target audience though, I'm not a teenage girl and I don't like K-Pop, animation was great though and there technically wasn't a super happy ending so that's good.
But it did give me an idea for a traveling band of Daemon hunting Bretonnians.

Does anybody know of any Medieval lute playing minis?
 
@Taliesin Kincaid have you started your foundry spearmen yet? Curious to know what you have planned for them.

Hopefully I should finish mine today if I can be bothered filling the gaps in the shields, I've been putting that off for a few days.
 
Thanks guys, they are all perfect. Sparked off a few more ideas as well, just need some medieval rabbits and a kebab. The kebabs for me not the rabbits.

Got my electric sorted, time to crack on with these spearmen now I can see.

I was gonna get medieval bunnies beating monks, but these guys are so adorable I'm gonna make a lil farm for them to carrot raid.
 
Skullncrown do these ones based on old illustrations. I like the siege set, might treat myself next month. Deffo getting the Monks though.

Might have a bunny counts as Skaven army, led by the Monty Python Rabbit.

And I've been blessed by Nurgle, eyes hurt, throat feels like I have gargled glass and Im coughing up interesting shapes and colours. Still getting a bit of painting done, just need to paint the shoes on the foundry spearmen and the foot knights need shields and the banner finishing then they are done. Started painting King Bruno but not sure what colour to paint his cloak, his heraldry is red and white quartered so maybe blue?

I also found another free Mexican in the box my foundry order arrived in so I've been painting those now and again as a break from what seems to be endless heraldry, been nice to paint something different, might even get a few more and have a go at Dead Mans Hand. I wonder if anyone makes Red Dead minis?
