My Random stuff

I ought to find a copy of that fellow and send him off into space with the Duchess of Pain Court. She's actually nice too, but she looks pretty scary, so they'd make a good team.

I like that diorama of dead-dead; flowers on green field and one dead/dying skaven. Nothing fancy, not a great big spectacle, no mourners, no one to care. Footpads dying is something we rarely put any thought at all when thinking of wargames or lore for our miniatures.
I've had this idea of making a diorama based on the poem/song 'The Twa Corbies' for a bit now, just need to find suitable mini of dead knight.
This diorama of yours works as great inspiration towards that.

A quick shot of a quick build, using a new (well, one I just got) Prince August mould, this is a treasure chest (a bit basic but not bad) and a bag of loot for a Loot Objective Token. I gotta cast up a few more to do some mode tokens and I might see about sculpting on some extra detail to the chest but not sure. had a bit of a problem doing the raised edges anyway.. looks okay on table top, not as much when you are looking close up in a photo. 25mm base.

Good stuff, one day I shall have a play with casting! I think it actually appeals more to me a lot more than the 3D printing, more visceral.

It's fun. takes a little bit for the metal to cool down enough and I'm having problem finding other companies that sell drop forge home cast moulds, but I can also make my own, just don't last as long. scenery-forge.com do some okay moulds for resin so that wouldn't last as long for metal and not as good for such
