No 36 - Also a dwarf
I have painted 2 or 3 dwarves, but never a pre slotta dwarf, so here he is, an old pre-slotta norse dwarf I've named Dorin the Rudy, ready to head up my 4 man or rather 4 dwarf warhammer quest project to find the lost recipe for his grandfathers porter beer in an abandoned dwarven city now overrun with skaven and the undead.

#37 - A barbarian riding a tiger
I have always liked the old Mark Copplestone's barbarian line he made for Fantasy warrior, I have already painted most of the foot barbarians but this one was still in the lead mountain.
While searching for some bretonnians I stumble upon it and my 7 yo boy who was with me asked me to paint him as He-Man, that's what I tried to achieve...

I've never painted a simian of any kind (to my knowledge). I've had these for ages and finally got round to painting a few up. It's a real quick and dirty drybrush job but it looks so much better than the original.
It's a WOTC D&D Miniatures pre-paint that I've rebased and repainted completely. Here's a comparison shot:

So here is another entry for the growing gallery. Originally bought this fella when I was 15. 25 years later he finally gets a coat of paint but only thanks to playing Mordheim!
This fella is TINY compared to the latest figures.

i've never painted a wolf-rat before, or anything by forgeworld.
although these are modern sculpts, wolf-rats are mentioned in the very first article about the skaven in the citadel journal spring '86, are in the ravening hordes skaven army list and the bestiary section of warhammer armies; bizarrely they don't feature in the skaven army list in warhammer armies. since these are the first sculpts of wolf-rats to be produced they are practically contemporaneous with jes goodwin's first chaos ratmen scuplts, making them properly oldhammer. or at least, that's my justification, should i need one.

OK, I brought myself a Blood Bowl Team at Abingdon last week. All are currently undercoated and I've started to paint flesh tones and base coated the uniforms(
Their Amazons ), what uniforms! Should be ready for BOYL 2015; anybody up for a game against a bunch of girls? Should be a walk over as I've neither played or owned a figure for the game before.
