Great job on that Fimir Asslessman. Colour scheme looks a little Greek hoplite - which I like - obviously ignoring the red skin, single eye and clubbed tail...

I hadn't even realised there was a JG fimir produced before the Nick Bibby versions but now I see he's based on the artwork in the 3rd edition rulebook (or vice versa). I also wasn't aware that everyone but me on this forum is sitting on a small pile of fimir. Must have missed the memo :roll:

Cheers Mostyn ! I'm glad you see an antique vibe in him as I intended to give a martial roman look with the association of red blue and gold !

If that can comfort you, I do not seat on a pile of fimirs bigger than this one and 4 plastic HQ troopers (bound to join this one) and even that one was a gift from Captain Crooks to quench my unlimited thirst for Jes Goodwin goodness (and man this one was a real pleasure).

Number 50: 4A Minis goblin
Another one from me, this time a 4A minis goblin, I'm planning on a dozen of these little guys for my dungeon project. I really love their aquatic theme.

51. I've never painted a... Chaos Thug

Back in the day, I was an Empire and Skaven player. Now, I've been looking into getting back into Fantasy with a Chaos army, as it will take fewer figures. I already have a Guard army, two horde armies would be a terrible, terrible error!

I'm not sure if you're supposed to "cross the streams", but I also painted him in 58 minutes...

The chaos thug is great Tim, especially if you consider it's done in under an hour :shock: . I like the simple basing that leaves all the show to the guy himslef and his weird mutation. Great job.

52. I have never painted a Grenadier Viking / Barbarian

Bought this fella over 25 years ago from Hamleys when its top floor used to be full of miniatures (its glory days!).

Only got it finished as part of a four point Saga army.

I love this guy. He's from the Journey to Creation range of action figures Poundland sells, and painted up really easily. I love repurposing cheap toys.

I'll second that - lovely figures Gaj.

Particularly like Fritzy (although I'll always be rooting for the lichmaster). You must be getting near to a painted lichemaster set now.

Well, I'm past the halfway mark. 10 out of 17 named characters, with the 60 undead rank and file and about 5 of the 40 human defenders painted. In 4 years...

At least 48 figures to go, by my reckoning, before I even start with any extra undead for our Kemler to raise.

But - progress!
