Inchmurrin's Oldhammer fantasy gallery

I feel these guys should be in my minotaur thread but as discussion of my photo quality was here I've posted here in the hope the improvement in photos shows. The subjects are a pair of first kickstarter Pantheon of Chaos minis I traded with Diego. They are both resin but given the source I think they are still Oldhammer in spirit.

First off a chaos minotaur which looks inspired by Sir Loin Foulbreath the C series Minotaur lord, mine's here for comparison. Diego's original also has an axe but my lack of resin experience resulted in a need for a weapon head change.

And our minotaur warbands trusty watchdog Spike the chaos hound.

He is rather nasty but he isn't currently available on the Pantheon of chaos site. However mine is one of the original resin models and most of Diego's minis are now metal, but the minotaur is available in metal. This may mean I'll start painting the Pantheon minis I've got now.

So my offering for Deadcember 2021 a Ral Partha mummy. How i remeber the terror of running away from these down DnD dungeons. Trying out lipped bases and filler for my preslottas.

Continuing the minotaur theme. This is the standard bearer for my Minotaur warband. The leader is not enamoured of grimdark gothic inspiration, therefore he's ordered a modernist abstract impressionist one from Marcus Rothcus new boy on the block in Novus Yorkium. Let me tell you there's more to this style than meets the eye I had to ask my art historian daughter in law for a bit of guidance. Comments and criticism welcomed though mid century New York comments like "My grand kids could do that" which Rothco got will be ignored.

he looks as though he's at a gallery opening waiting for someone to come and ask him about the inspiration behind his work.
