Black Tree Miniatures

It's always been pot luck. I've had orders within a couple of weeks at the same time as I know others have been waiting six months or more. Seems to depend on what they actually have in stock.

Not really... still pot luck I'd say. Sorry, I'm just bitter because they're still ignoring me, even though my approach remains polite and positive... perhaps that's where I'm going wrong. :)
that's a shame, you would think they would resolve the oldest orders first? Didn't they say in their "we're back!" update that is what they planned to do?
Things probably got so screwed up they don't even have record of stuff more than year old. So they decided "let's just keep the current customers happy"

right... they kinda did start to sort things out and deal with some old and new orders (though I would ... say some casting wasn't quite as good... even with some stuff that technically shouldn't be new casts but.. fair enough. Not bad but not quite as good) but then Sam went radio dead so.. yeah.. I'm not quite sure what's up right now. I'm trying to see but have to see how things go.

Yeah, I'm still getting radio silence from them - tenaciously still emailing periodically though.
I keep a copy of my order and all the details in the email chain and regularly refer to it... still ignored so far though.

Are they now 100% USA based?
kinda, yes. John has meant to have finally given over the main thing to Sam, though he had ill health, he didn't want to hand over passwords and stuff so someone else could take over. Sam took over but I don't know what's happen now.

gonna have to comment on this.i ordered from them oct 11th 2025.no coms from them whatsoever.the items were ordered by niece as a gift for me.she has e mailed them once and i have emailed them twice.i have every sympathy for the situatin but my patience does have limits.which i am afraid is wearing very thin by this point.the way i look at it is simple. i am quite happy to contact trading standards and i am also more than happy to make this a legal issue .and yes its like £20 or so but its actually the simple fact that i have been more than fair and patient. and not even heard anything back from them.im not gonna lie i am really not a happy camper .i will add i have ordered from them before and have had no prolems at all.would i reccomend them or use them again ?.no not a chance.which is a shame as i really do like a lot of the miniatures they sell .and if mr john olsen ever reads this well done mate you just lost a customer that would have quite happily spent more money with you.
so yeah thats my experience with black tree in a nut shell. and i will apologise to forum members if this offends or comes across as ranting but i am pretty angry about it.

I've had no responses either. The FAQ on the website says that the lead time is something like 60 days (might have been 90?) before dispatch, but it's pretty well buried. That hasn't elapsed yet, but it's a ridiculously long lead time.

I'm not holding out much hope for my order I made at the start of march then.

Oh, John isn't really running things now, due to his health problems and heart attacks and stuff, but Sam was meant to be taking over and some stuff was going on but then something happened... cause it's all stopped again.

I know things are upsetting but kinda block text statements aren't going to do too much, cause you kinda need to calm down a bit. I'm not defending anyone, I would kinda LOVE to defend them as they started to get better but then dead again so... trying to see what's going on.

some of us did wait years by the way ^_^;

ok so its accepatble that this company can take orders and not fulfil there orders.? and i also would love to defend them but at this point in time it is unacceptable. it is no way to treat customers.and to be perfectly honest i think anybody that has been on the recieving end of this dubious businesss has every right to be angry.as we brits say "its just not cricket ".as for block text i am very dyslexic so sorry about that not much i can do about it.i mean seriously its a joke .and what we are supposed to do just sit here and let this this company keep getting away with this .at this point in time i think all of us have been patient enough.put simply if you cannot fulfuil your orders dont take them.for me its not the money or waiting for orders its the simple fact that there is no comms from them i have better things to do with my time than file pay pal disputes and chase an order that was placed months or in some cases years ago.but since i need to "calm down a bit"
i will just leave this here from there website.

"Our resolution this year is to increase production and make your experience with us here at EOE as smooth as possible. Thank you all for a wonderful 2025, and have a happy new year. "
