Archaeopteryx's Mild Case of Lead Poisoning

WOW! Saved for Reference! Fantastic work...I am challneged in picking colors for these figures and it is great to see that your bold choice work so well with these sculpts...gives me plenty of inspiration.

Cheers,

Blue

I do particularly like the fat yellow fellow. He came out very well. I still regret failing to buy a blister of pirates that included him.

Amazing work (again!). As JB points out, there are some tricky sculpts there, but you managed to almost reinvent the minis. Absolutely awesome.

G'day, it's been a while since I last contributed anything but though progress has been both slow and sporadic I have managed to finish a couple of things to show, and have a fair amount of other works in progress.

An ork hybrid, ogryn hybrid, and female fourth generation hybrid!

Have been working on some space marines, of which these are the first batch that I've completed. They are from the Crimson Fists chapter, but I decided to give them a camouflage scheme, while retaining the red fist as the main heraldic symbol of their chapter and to give them a splash of colour.

Once again, very cool stuff in this thread.

The "camo green" termies are nice, but I really like the way you've painted the stealers ! Dark and well painted, just as I like !

That fourth gen hybrid is truly incredible. I really really wish that had gone into wider production. There's something very dune about that miniature. And I love what you did with the cloak.

what is the story behind that miniature? I have never seen it before.

I'm pretty sure that was part of a private commission.
