My local postie has yet to handle the package, it might end up at my neighbours, on the roof, he might try eating it, can never tell with our postman.

Would be dull without him though.

As soon as I sit on the loo the postman knocked, it's like he knew.

Foot knights based and waiting for primer to dry. They even threw in a free cowboy that looks like Michah from Red Dead Redemption 2, that's gonna make a nice distraction mini to paint instead of Brets or Undead.

Had a redelivery this afternoon, someone else was covering the area last week and tried to deliver in a random street 5miles away…

Finally, base costs done, just need to touch up the diamonds on the green n white chap (never doing that again) then it's washes and detailing.
May even have them done by morning, would be handy if I can finish them tonight, those unreleased Bretonnian spearmen should be arriving any day now. Never been so eager to paint basic spearmen before.

Crappy Alcatel 20 quid mobile phone camera, unfortunately this is the best I'm gonna get out of it. I kept my old phone because the camera works ok ish, it's just the screens knackered. Problem is I have no idea where it is.

The ex should be back from Greece later so I'll use her phone to get some better shots.

Cheers geez, I'm actually enjoying painting up these guys. Hopefully spearmen show today fingers crossed, that's why I'm tryna get these knights done, I'm more interested in the spearmen, I've seen these knights loads since I was a kid, the spearmen are new and shiny. And ones left handed, I don't know why but thats kinda cool.

Time to walk my mates slobbering mutt then a day of painting whilst I have motivation, shame I cba to walk the doggo, in my defence I did just wake up 25 mins ago and I lack motivation to actually be awake.

Yea boi the Spearmen were waiting for me after I walked the dog. Already prepped them and gonna get em primed now.

I compared the Spearmen and Foot knights to the wounded guy I got last week, the wounded chap is smaller, makes sense though as it is actually two chaps intended to go on a 20mm base. Not an issue, just an interesting observation.

Anyhoo, it's priming time!

Lol I'm not that broke, just got no clue where the hell my old phone is. Annoyingly I saw it just after Xmas, I know it's here somewhere. My housemate is back from Greece tonight so I'll take some glamour shots on her phone.

tbh I think I need to cull my collection of cardboard, polystyrene, Pringles tubes and assorted plastic tubs, it's gone from 'might need it one day' sensible sized pile to 'one day my body's gonna be found under a landslide of junk as my rabbit slowly eats my face' sized pile. I bet I find my old phone then as I'm not actively looking for it.

Ooh the Spearmen have gone up on the foundry site today. Deffo going to get another pack, these lil fellas are fun to paint, few wonky noses and one looks a bit inbred but hey they are Bretonnian, we may be harder than the Empire but at least they don't have 7 webbed toes, on their face.

And that's just the Peasants, don't get me started on the Nobility. I'm sure it's time for King Bruno's yearly bath.
