thank you. i realise i've forgotten the satellite dishes. i'm working on rectifying that.

i'm supposed to be finishing off my scenario for tobcon but boyl inspiration has forced me back to a spot of painting. the scenario is nearly done.
i picked up this warmonger norse dwarf from foundry at the weekend.
i've been looking for a tenth dwarven engineer / miner / sapper to finish off the unit for quite some time.
i've now been able to delete my ebay search.
here's the complete unit, painted to hopefully fit both my kaiser- and anschlusszwerge.
name tags will follow, apparently the most recent recruit is called durin, so i need a befur and aftir.

thank you. only the dynamite guy (third from right) has a sculpted candle. the far left is a conversion of the middle left figure. my beloved bought me it missing it's tool, so i added a pickaxe in place of the mallet and stuck the candle on whilst i was about it.

a couple of warmonger orcling desperadoes.
they'll join my (relatively primitive, but well-dressed) space orks. just need to get back to working on their transport.

i'll never be the best but i can be (amongst the) first.

they are good. i got most of mine (very cheaply) in precast packs from a trader (whose name i've forgotten) at various shows a while back.I love those Renaissance garbed Ork range, pick one up each year.

skavtember is here, and i'm marking the start of the month with some rat ogre conversions:
components are a reaper bones giant wererat and games workshop rat ogres from the islands of blood set and the start collecting clan pestilens box.
i think i managed to mangle some more interesting iterations together.
i also think the paint job ties the parts together okay.
they look as though clan moulder had some fun selecting their progenitors in the breeding pits.
getting these three done means i have a full pack for clan renj.

pretty much the usual mix of kits, but the light grey elements are cut from the second set of kroot hounds (which i think are on last year's wip thread).
painted up in the usual style.
i now have forty of these. in wfb3 twenty of them will be storm vermin; the others will be clan rats, so at some point i'll probably add another five.

some giant rats today.
plastic games workshop interspersed with 3d prints from iron gate scenery, the latter a gift from my beloved as i have probably mentioned before.
i was perusing warhammer armies earlier in the week and was reminded the skaven can take a monstrous host of 100 of these, as well as packs led by clan moulder beastmasters. that sounds like a goal to aim for.

on the left a repurposed and reposed foundry nymph, an amazon miniatures amazon with see thirty amazons head, usual kitbashed ratman, another amazon miniatures amazon with necromunda underhive scum head, and a celtos barbarian from brigade miniatures which was a give away at harrowing in the north.
i'm running dangerously low on humanoid, skaven-related, figures.
