Sewers.of.estark’s Dungeon Adventurers

that's a whole lot of dragon on him.
Oh yeah!
I like the photo where he seems to be surprised to see that his hammer has turned into a newt! What a fun mini. :)
Thanks Fimm! I think it was this this run of Grenadier figures that changed my mind on them.
Oh, he's a fun one! Love the color choices.
Thanks! I’m pretty happy with how he turned out, and quite quickly!

Here’s the next one for the party, a Drow Assassin. Used a C09 Witch Elf to play the part.

After getting this photo I’ve decided I might go back and do some reworking on her eyes (I think a ring of black around them would help them pop, as well as some yellow/white pupils instead of black) and I think the purple could use a bit more work on the edges, but otherwise I’m happy with it!

I decided to try the base out in the same way I’ve been painting my tomb kings to distinguish the evil player characters more from the rest. Anyways, here she is. Next I’ll be painting the last of the figures for the project and it might just be my favorite of the lot. After that I’ll probably go back and repaint all of their bases to the more desert style and get a nice group photo before moving onto the next project.

My work on these is complete!! Here’s a look at the final addition to the gang, C17 Boney Bomber.

I’ve also reshot pictures of the other individuals with their updated paint (and other minor redone work)

To wrap things up here is the group together, and another shot of the villains fighting some goodly adventurers in the ruins of a temple.

So he says to me, 'you gotta do something smart, baby; something BIG'. He says 'you wanna be a supervillain, right?', and I go 'yeah, baby, yeah, yeah! What do I gotta do?!' He says 'you got bombs. Blow up the Comet Club! It's packed with superheroes. You'll go down in supervillain history.' And I says 'yeah, baby!' 'Cause I'm the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight!!

Brilliant stuff. Finally catching up on some thread reading and enjoying all the minis I'd missed. C17 Bomber has always been a favourite miniature and I love the cloak you've done for him.

Gorgeous minis, like your painting style!

What are the ruins made of? Looks like some kind of foam at first glance, but the structure does not look familiar. Is it something different than foam? Or just a type I am not familiar with.

Thank you :)
Unfortunately not a piece that I made, it would be nice though as I could go for a few more in the same style!

Its an aquarium piece I picked up years ago, seems to be cast in some sort of lightweight cement. I really should go through and fix the paint up a bit, but with so many other projects I don’t feel too strong of an urge.

A few hex bases ended up on my painting desk so I decided to get more dungeon adventurers ready for the call to action!

These still need to be flocked but that will come when I finish up the others I’m currently working on!
