Orctober 2024

Gosh is it really Orctober already? Where did the year disappear to? Well I don't have anything recent to kick off the thread, but I shall endeavour to finish up my Fantasy Miniatures goblins, which have languished in the "nearly there" pile for too long!

So without further ado, here is the before ...

And hopefully I'll have a finally finished picture by the end of the month!

So time to break out the goblin green and see what you can do to make us all green with envy...

ugh.. And I've kinda got some goblins to paint but no heads... cause they shouldn't have goblin heads ¬_¬

Ooh, inspiration! Think I’ll get some paint on these lads.

The D&D boyz are gonna go old skool with proper hex bases too.

I used that black orc as my orc army general for years! Cool model, I think I might even still have him somewhere.

Now that is intriguing!

I've got a partially painted dwarf wizard on my painting desk, sitting there and waiting to be finished. If I can get my painting mojo back I'll try and get at least one of these newly acquired gobbos painted. They are suitably straightforward sculpts and maybe that is just what I need after that dwarf.

Sculpted by Mark Cobblestone, original released by Grenadier back in 1992. Just still in production.
I think the age is fine, Mark Cobblestone is a good sculpture though these ones are a bit... not his best ^_^ (but then, going for the style I guess) and Grenadier had a good history.. Em4 ended up with most of there plastics really..
