Of course, it's one of the variations of the classic one by Kev Adams, used for the 'how to paint' drawing etc.. that one is Commander Holbrog, originally from C-16 Orc Command range (ORC1). later as 0506/09

Commander Holbrog is the unhelmented one ^_^ sorry, I rambled a bit so might get a bit confusing
the helmeted versions were c-15 (ORC1) Commander Stumbar and C-17 (ORC1) Commander Rambost. (Rambost was the one that was in the Combat cards as 'Gublub Manhammer')
and while confusing, it wasn't the C range of figures, they are just the Code for each one.. CItadel never seamed to keep a coding format for long and reused alot

The shroom came about as I had a lump of left over greenstuff and found a use for it before it cured (many small details on my bases have similar origins...).
I personally like a darker skin tone on my orks, fits better with the drab schemes I prefer as well.

I've got some black orcs to tackle at some point so it's always nice to see some inspiration for the skin.
Moderate progress on my own lot. So they are now all based. The lot on the left need some final metallics and the lot on the right are done bar faces. That's going to be a bit of a slog - not sure just yet to what extent I will do teeth and eyes. They are painted quite roughly so it's not super critical. Still might just finish this week depending on how much Halloween prep ends up occupying me, err I mean work ends up occupying me, work, yep work definatly.
