So named after the prophecy of Scrotter Brokenstaff which came to him after he fought a mighty demon and only through cheating did the demon win, and the blow broke his staff and knocked him out.
Whilst out cold, Scrotter (then Scrotter of the Mightystaff) had a vision, in which when Morrslieb runs red with blood, the warband will be invincible to all.

So thus did the warband become known.

Lovely soft highlights on the skin, very nice. Stripy trousers knock it up that extra notch!

Thanks. As per usual with all my photos, the models look better in the flesh. But I do quite like him.

If your Orc leader is not wearing striped trousers, he has no business being in charge.

Done ... just for the end of the month. Well mostly done. I do have four shields to paint, but the goblins are done and it's Orctober not Shieldember or whatever...

So here are my goblins. These were part of an ebay haul I picked up that needed some TLC. The goblins with hand weapons had some missing and each had a bit of the original bow on his lower leg that needed caving off. You can see some of that work on my WIP thread.

Quite happy with my monopose madness! I've tried not to go too crazy on these - just a big batch of goblins with the same set of colours on all of them. No crazy detailing, but I did at least do the eyes and something that looks a bit like a row of teeth!

Love everyone else's contributions for the month. Have we any other "by the skin go their teeth" offerings?

That's a nice looking goblin. Not sure I've seen that sculpt before. I like the detail on the sword pommel.

Thanks. It's the same mini I posted on first page but in black undercoat not that easily recognizable. :)
It took me some time but slowly these goblins with facial hair started to grow on me, actually to an extent I'm now thinking of adding both hair and beard on some of my unpainted baldie-goblins to have some variety on them.
With this particular one no work on hair was needed as he was already sporting impressive mutton chops/ handlebars.
I did however do some other green stuffing on it and pommel was a last minute change when I realized it was too basic for the look I'm aiming for with this mini.
