My Greenskins

Thanks for all the encouragement. I have continued making terrain and have finished a troll cave

The structure is made from pieces of cork bark, the tree from a twisted wire armature covered in pva and polyfilla, and the cage from a few paperclips, twigs and magnets. I added an old hatchling to the nest and the captured dwarf slayer from The Battle For Skullpass starter box.

Thanks all, the giants are nearing completion but some river trolls and stolen my attention in the meantime. Hopefully they manage to puke on some knights on Thorkinson's Island at BOYL in a couple of months.

Giants hopefully done this week too, might not try to do four at once again

Next up is a C28 giant, Grimtooth Bottsnortle with huge axe. I know these models divide opinion, but I love them

And as that completes my set of these Nick Bibby sculpts I thought I'd better make a group shot, this time joined by Knobber Witherwattle from earlier in the thread

I've still got the later Albion Giants sitting on my desk, hope they will be done soon

Very impressive giant unit!
The skin tones, the detailed faces, the color blending of their clothes, the basing, everything is executed at a high standard.
Even by looking in their eyes you can tell which one is the good, the bad and the ugly ;)

So yes, go ahead, the Albion giants will surely make a great addition to these guys.

Thanks Plaiecivile and Fimm, I have made some progress on the Albion giants though they are not yet done. My Marauder giant jumped the queue instead.

I will finish the Albions soon, no distractions. Thanks for looking

These are looking very good! looking forward to see them in the flesh at Boyl - how many Giants are coming? (the Pygmys need to know how many pit traps to dig)

Love the muted, naturalistic tones on that giant. You don't often see one looking so broody and realistic, even though it's a brilliant sculpt. I guess the marauder vibrant colour scheme is what people are generally trying to emulate, but yours is easily the best I've seen. A tribute but with added grit. :)

Thanks Suber, Fimm and Pygmy. The marauder giant is one of my favourite miniatures and I'm glad I've been able to paint one at last, glad you like him. I've managed to finish the Albion giants too, which brings the band of giants up to eight, the pygmies better get their shovels oot.

some boar boys next I think, thanks for looking.

Quick shot of all my giants together, plan is to battle Pygmy Witch Doctor's warband on Friday morning at BOYL, some sort of modified Warhammer skirmish over some old bones. Should be fun
