Gosh, what a lovely photo. I'm going to ignore the stunning miniatures for a minute and just drink in the background. Lovely stuff - your own work? Very reminiscent of the detailed ink work Blanche did in his earlier work - thinking things like the Tolkien Bestiary. Wonderful to see a background that says "oldhammer" by itself!

Awesome, wish I could do that. How do you go about such a painting? Do you have something in your mind and start splashing colours on the canvas, or do you draw the general shapes with pencil first and then colour them in, or...?
