that reminds me.. a bit odd for Door 13 to be a door on side and a torch the other.. No major problem or anything but I would have expected doors to just be doors ^_^

Been a little hesitant to cut open the back of the calendar…

Anyway, have finished off the first 4 figures at last!
nice. Just slice the plastic stickers around the edge of the front, and the back will fold over showing it's double backed and still a back to the inside tray ^_^
though the hole for hanging is only on the board back but that's not a huge problem cause you already have a knife in hand.

Yes, that's interesting... I did think all doors were double sided, but may have missed one. Let me know if you find an internal-only door!

With my Deadcember models done, I started on Mount Silence at Night.

As per usual, I used metal bases from Products for Wargamers instead of the plastic ones. I used miliput to sculpt flagstones on the bases.

And here are the first batch of goblins painted. For a color scheme I take the advent calendar cover, as well as Geoff's Goblins (with him being the man behind Oakbound Studio, the publisher of the advent calendar) as inspiration. To distinguish the models, I also used black/yellow decorations on their robes.

The finale revealed a Hengeton. What is Huldraugur? Is it its name? Or just a different term? Wasn't clear for me from the day's webpage.

Anyways, the advent calendar was a great joy :) Thank you very much for the experience.
