Michaels 25mm WFB Stuff...

The Stone Circle predates the village and not much is known about it.

What we do know is that there are 12 standing stones organised into groups of three.
you did a really nice job on the terrain, looks well balanced and natural. I wouldn't mind knowing what some of the materials are? I have a decent assortment of terrain stuff but not enough to make my current monstrosity as interesting as yours. The stones and druid are really good too

What's the significance of the 'moat'?
well it's obviously a place for all the blood to collect from the sacrificial altar. Can't have it running all over the place and making a big mess :)

Sure.
I am not sure how useful it will be to you though, as they are not known global brands, they are own label from a small UK modelling shop:

Whilst the tufts etc are their own label I suspect they buy them in big sheets from somewhere overseas and just cut them up and sell them.
If you could find out who their supplier is, you may find a closer stockist that is cheaper on the old postage?

Having said that, the non tuft stuff is available everywhere, being big brand shizz.

Anywho, in no real order some shots of what tufts I mostly use and their product codes, let me know if you can't see them and need betterer piccies:

(I assume you are not fussed on the flock/static grass that I used in general?)

Wow, i can see I'll be spending more on terrain supplies :) , but thank you so much, very helpfiul. Yes the grass tufts are pretty straightforward, i have some (need a lot more), so is the clump foliage. but there are some things i have never seen (and need) like the small shrubs and "Gorse" .
Also, what is this stuff called?

They are both by a company called Javis. I am not really sure what they are called, but the one in the bag is like clump foliage but has quite a weak bond and breaks up more easily than the woodland scenics brand.
The stuff in the box is sort of like a foam based scatter that rather than loose particles, it sort of clings to each other. You can't sprinkle it as such as it adheres to itself.
I guess if normal scatter material is long grain rice, then this stuff is like sticky jasmine rice?

If it helps, gorse is a very spiky green bush with yellow flowers. There's almost certainly a local equivalent, but "spiky bush" would be a generic term for it.

@Michael Stockin what are the long brown reedy things called? At some distant point I want to make river sections and they'd be great cut down for reeds.

Also, I couldn't find the diorama leaves on the model scenics website (great site I've bought from before). Do they look like actual leaves?

They are great for reeds, I love them.
I have had them for about 15 years and no idea what they are called, however I would be surprised if this is not them:

They sell the leaves, here is one of the colours:

I have one next to me house that deposits pods on the side path, so have a regular supply! 😁
I was wondering what those were! I thought they were Coriander seed husks.
I bought some from Greenstuff world, pretty cheap, about $4.50 i think, so maybe £3? They came nicely tinted in various shades of green, so it's not like they just scooped some off the ground. + We don't have silver Birch trees here.

Convenience has its own price.
couldn't agree more, when i'm looking at a 300 or 500 hour project saving a few bucks is not my top prioity

since we're on this topic, i thought you guys might find this amusing, but i've purchased even more ridiculous things.

In my big project i posted, the Orc ambush, the Dead tree in the swamp holding up the wind Rider Eagle scout. Yup, i paid almost 10£ for a small box of them shipped to me. They were the right size, shape, nicely weathered, and had lichen growing on them. Lichen doesn't grow here, and i figured someone had go tromping thru a tick infested wetland and find this stuff, dry it out, list it, sell it, pay ebay, etc. I was worth it for me, and i still have some left.

The Ral partha Elf chariot, and the tree-beard scenes. That angular cut wood cross section plinth that they sit on, 12 pounds for 10 of those, all the way from China.

I needed 2 long , slender and tapered pieces of stone for an upcoming Bridge at Kazad Dum project. 2 pieces of petrified wood, tree branches, fit the bill. Again, 12 pounds delivered for the pair.
Zero regrets, i absolutely love that we have more choices today in terrain than we've ever had, both from shops and private sellers. How many of you remember back in the day when your only choice was this stuff that looked like a goofy-golf putting green?
