you did a really nice job on the terrain, looks well balanced and natural. I wouldn't mind knowing what some of the materials are? I have a decent assortment of terrain stuff but not enough to make my current monstrosity as interesting as yours. The stones and druid are really good too

What's the significance of the 'moat'?

well it's obviously a place for all the blood to collect from the sacrificial altar. Can't have it running all over the place and making a big mess

Whilst the tufts etc are their own label I suspect they buy them in big sheets from somewhere overseas and just cut them up and sell them.
If you could find out who their supplier is, you may find a closer stockist that is cheaper on the old postage?

Having said that, the non tuft stuff is available everywhere, being big brand shizz.

Wow, i can see I'll be spending more on terrain supplies , but thank you so much, very helpfiul. Yes the grass tufts are pretty straightforward, i have some (need a lot more), so is the clump foliage. but there are some things i have never seen (and need) like the small shrubs and "Gorse" .
Also, what is this stuff called?

They are both by a company called Javis. I am not really sure what they are called, but the one in the bag is like clump foliage but has quite a weak bond and breaks up more easily than the woodland scenics brand.
The stuff in the box is sort of like a foam based scatter that rather than loose particles, it sort of clings to each other. You can't sprinkle it as such as it adheres to itself.
I guess if normal scatter material is long grain rice, then this stuff is like sticky jasmine rice?

If it helps, gorse is a very spiky green bush with yellow flowers. There's almost certainly a local equivalent, but "spiky bush" would be a generic term for it.

@Michael Stockin what are the long brown reedy things called? At some distant point I want to make river sections and they'd be great cut down for reeds.

Also, I couldn't find the diorama leaves on the model scenics website (great site I've bought from before). Do they look like actual leaves?

They are great for reeds, I love them.
I have had them for about 15 years and no idea what they are called, however I would be surprised if this is not them:
