Michaels 25mm WFB Stuff...

Looks splendid! I like the pattern on his vest and the metal on the barrel daubing, really turned out nice.
That guy's name is probably Barry. Never been the same since his folks got killed in the big house fire; terrible accident at his sister's wedding.
He's taken to drink and to ramblings, coming to grips with his personal loss and trauma by making it all part of a much bigger picture. Much, much bigger. Barry claims he has the 'historical eye', a rare gift to see the present as part of a great tapestry of history, like a large puzzle and each event a piece in it. Now he is drawn to altercations of all sorts. Barry loves to watch a fight. It's all part of history, y'see. And lo, the more, the merrier. If times a hard and battle is brewing, Barry will know in advance. It's all part of history, y'see. He'll be there before battle is joined, sitting on his barry for a better view (and for sustenance, of course) and enjoy the sight of a splendid punch-up. He has tin riding on the outcome and argues with himself occasionally. He never bothers anybody, he's just poor ol' Barry.

It takes skill and patience to make these little old chaps look as good as these - splendid!

And here I was thinking that green and yellow are the colors of the 'Hochland' province..

I slapped some “Dead Flesh” on the zombies:

as I hoped a quick wash and some quick drybrushing would be ok, but as I painted them I realised I could not paint them any quicker than my normal speed without making them look naff, so daunted by what will probably be about 150 hours of painting, I decided to start the Fleglers:

As I slapped the flesh on, some names of the various Brothers popped into my head.

Love 'em too! Classic Marauder sculpts. found some on the old collection and so tempting to add them to the head of the painting pile!
Didn't know there were any later (metal) sculpts? Do you mean the plastics? They are great and really useful in their own right.

Always preferred those Flagellants over later sculpts,

Same, the very modern ones are just silly I feel.
These are classics, and I have them despite not really wanting them as in game terms they are a bit crappy.

But they do look cool.

The middle dude is a conversion, he was originally going to be my drunken cleric for Mordheim so I removed the heart from the book and put an hourglass on it, changed his club to a bottle of booze and being mordheim added a fish and a another bottle for good measures.
