17. Rambo Rabbit (unbelievable, I know, but this is really my first one)
Its a Hobby Products C1201f Rambo-Rabbit from the late 80ies, so it took me 25+ years to paint it up.
For me it it is Puderotha the Avangther a former pet slave.
He was created by an illegal genetics lab which later taken out by an adeptus mechanicus executor squad.
All other slaves were destroyed while he, after some debate, was meant to be taken away.
He was from the new Terran-Leagcy range and so there was probably some confusion about his identity.
In the end it was decided that he was likely not a slave but genetic raw material and a near extinct, terran species.
Thats the reason while they did not shoot him when he made a run for it...

Hmmm... NEVER painted? I'll have a look around. I've been painting fantasy models for more than 30 years and between D&D and Warhammer, off the top of my head I can't think of something I HAVEN'T painted!
I might have to get technically specific...

That is a particularly nice bottle, I must admit. Also like the tattoo work on the rabbit. Good thread. I may have to see if I can paint a fantasy figure. So many possibilities, as I've never painted anything fantasy much beyond an old RP box set of adventurers and a bunch of dragons. I do have some mediaevals that could serve as fantasy, but they're pretty clearly Brits, for the most part. (And even those are from a half a lifetime ago now.)

Number 19 Asgard Half Troll
Never painted an Asgard mini before, bit reluctant to tackle this mini as it's synonymous with John Blanche and I can't freehand for sheet, so I painted over my crappy shield design not once but three times

I don't know if you were hoping to hit old school cool with the troll, but everything about it screams old school...the classic sculpt, the superb paint job with interesting blending on the shield, and (of course) the blue toadstools. Very nice!

Lovely entries you guys ! teh Asgard troll is a classic amongst classics ! Great interpretation here. The demon is also really cool, midway between Pete Taylor and John Blanche. The marauder Giant is one imposing beast and it look sreally cool with colours bright but still muted down compared to the original, must get to painting mine...
