I'm still celebrating the festive season, so spent the day spreading a little colour over a few CP4, Tom Meier Lizard warriors, still very much WIP.
Enjoy

nice colour choices.
slann allies or enemies?
Thanks.

In response - both, depends upon how I view the conflict - the old ones persecuted the lizardmen of the old world, however following their fall I'm of the opinion that changed - given the Slann's suspicion of technology and the lizardmens lack of magic - both races needed each other to survive the influences of the new races, thus both being pragmatic joined forces in mutual support, but only after the usual teething problems.

Always had a wonder how many races the Slann really were.. But this is probably just cause in alot of fantasy, people have a hard time showing differences between members of a non-human species without either making them look very human, or making them look very different from each other to a point of not the same race.

Spread a little flock and varnish over the few figures I painted over the festive season, now ready to join the lounge-army.

coming on nicely.
Thank you, but they've already moved on from those base coats and looking good in bronze armour, even if, I do say so myself.

A conversation on Facebook yesterday regarding who had the most Slann, lead to a trip to the attic in search of missing modern figures (Diehard) where I found these, more grist to the mill, I surpose.

No problems with productivity in your camp then!
Yes, I'm back on form averaging ten figures a week or a large model usually, but I'm at the last knockings for this army, only another hundred or so figures to go, hence the video to encourage me to keep going.

Progress shot of a few more slann, finding these hard to bring to a conclusion almost a week since I last splashed a little paint around.

In the big scheme of things not a great deal has changed, but as far as I'm concerned - they're done, apart from the basing and varnishing.8-)
