Thanks for that, I've more to do this month expect more green. Currently on the slab - Black orcs banners for my regiments (Thanks Mr Hides), I'm still looking for ideas for the banners, hence the block colours.

OK, I'v now got most the banners and command figures painted and based and ready for joining their regiments of my Black Orcs, excellently painted by My Hides - these will act as the BAD guys in a large game I'm planning.

It took quite a lot of time, but I'm down to my last forty figures to base up, then it'll be the flocking and varnishing, joy.

These are just the banners and command standard, the hard work has been done by Mr Hides a few years ago, it's taken me a long time to get to this stage.

Fimm, I'm re-working the scenario you played at my house a few years ago, the half-orc contingent you played against has almost tripled in size since then , so how many nipponesse would I need? Especially if their orc allies have grown by a similar rate!

Those look great Golgfag! Those old pre-slotta figs have an enormous amount of character and you bring it out very well indeed with this bunch. I love the expressions and the faces. And the more muted palette is a refreshing touch.

Thanks for the kind comments, the picture quality isn't great as I used my phone, but I have to say I'm please with the way these have turned out .

^I use my phone all the time anymore. I honestly don't think my real camera does even as good a job at capturing miniatures. You can get the phone right down in there, and the small lenses work well for macro shots.
