Current WIP, hopefully I'll get the rider completed by this evening.

Whilst the wyvern's paint and varnish was drying I splashed a little paint over this fella, on the whole quite pleased with the way he turned out.

Here's the wyvern with its rider, all I have to do now is a flag for the banner pole and we're there.

Enjoy

Yes, it's been a fruitful couple of weeks with the bigger bits of kit, things will slow once I start churning out the smaller bits and pieces, but for now all bright and shinny.

The giant looks lovely and the wyvern is magnificent. Not sure I've ever seen an ork mounted on one before. (I'm not especially a fantasy guy, so maybe it's common and I just missed it.) Anyway . . . fabulous! He makes a great looking rider, though I'm not sure if he's boss or baggage in this instance. ;)

Thanks for your generous comments, as to boss or baggage - a fighter - baggage, a magic user - boss, simply on the basis of their usefulness moving round the table  delivering mayhem as only an orc can

^I think what I meant by the boss or baggage comment was about who was in charge; mount or rider. Which model ranks higher in I, W, and C, say. Maybe even L.

You truly have the most classic collection of the oldest hammerings! It's a delight getting a tour of all that lovely old pre-slotta stuff. (I hope one of these days you drag out some of the early space stuff.) Well done sir!

Thanks for the kind comments guys, they're much appreciated. So, as it's Orctober here's a picture of all the the figures I've splashed a little paint over in the last month, not a bad haul, even if I do say so myself.

Very nice bunch! Looking at the miniatures I got feeling that is raining hehe Very atmospheric.

Thanks for your comments, the appearance of the finish is down to the varnish I use and when I took the picture the lighting wasn't great (overcast) hence the damp look 8-) , I don't foresee the weather improving any time soon (currently raining) .
