These really are just too good. I love the colours, they are just amazing. It has got me really torn now about how to do my Space Ork Raiders box who are eventually going to be pulled out of the lead pile. If I just did them as I would normally they would end up quite plain, but seeing your bright Orks I'm wondering if I should take off in that direction.

Keep posting those greenskins, this thread is just too much fun to look at!
Thank you! Initially I wanted to emulate a bright colour scheme such as savage_ork_guy or snotlingdiscotek, and I brought some florescent paints and the requisite moot green, wild rider red, flash gitz yellow and baharroth blue.
White undercoat, and think bright!

Whenever I think there is a limit to how much praise I can sing about your choice of colour, you always prove me wrong. I've probably mentioned this before, but the way you paint their eyes reminds me of how you see some animals eyes in the dark reflecting the light of the headlights - I really like it. The way you use your brush-strokes as well, giving this wiry texture on the skin is also brilliant - really gives an extra level of detail.

That grin does look mighty sinister.... the blood splatters don't help....
The black flames on the... belly plate? Belt buckle? Anyway, they look great, such a good detail.

I love how bright they are!
And as for that painboy... well it's just wonderful to see someone take as much pleasure in their work as he does!

You've really taken your inspiration and ran with it ! Really love your boldness with the colours but especially on the skintones keep it up.

The pink touches around his nose, mouth, ears, fingers, and even his gun are, as always, really striking. You've done very nice things with those old orks. :)

Also: I'm glad I'm not the only one plagued with the occasional bit of lint or hair on a miniature. ;) Makes me feel a little better about my own humanity.

Fantastic work!

^And if it's not hair, it's spiderwebs. Half my miniatures were coated in concrete dust recently. Had some plumbing work done and my gaming table was behind some plastic sheeting to keep the dust out, but . . . it got in anyway. I swear I could have screamed. Spent many hours trying to gently dust the affected folk. This was in December and some things still don't really seem clean.
