I've just been through this entire thread and these orks are wicked! I've never seen these models painted in such a uniquely funky way before, like you've taken the late era RT colour palette and then cranked the volume up to 11. The grots especially have a real graffiti art vibe to them. They look amazing en masse too.

I am trying to paint much brighter than usual, so it's really nice to hear you say that
I am 'relatively' new to Instagram, and stumbled across savage_ork_guy 's orks, which I thought were amazing. They were a massive influence, although I have limited the pallet as I can't focus so much energy into painting one model without hating all the other models

That is such a great take on that classic - Especially how the colour shifts on its legs, and eyes that look like they are reflecting light like a cats.

These really are just too good. I love the colours, they are just amazing. It has got me really torn now about how to do my Space Ork Raiders box who are eventually going to be pulled out of the lead pile. If I just did them as I would normally they would end up quite plain, but seeing your bright Orks I'm wondering if I should take off in that direction.

Keep posting those greenskins, this thread is just too much fun to look at!
