Blatant disregard for the speed limit, and a flagrant attitude to accuracy - a wartrakk appears!

All quiet for now, as I paint my submission for the Old World Army Challenge.
This is just a post to say I'm still painting, but pictures will be posted first on the OWAC blog :)

Here's some squigs as a teaser. They are guarding someone...
I've one more squig to paint to complete my squig collection, which is exciting!

I don't know if I've said this before, but your choice of colours are great. Vibrant and full of life, but they don't clash at all.

That's very good of you to say, thank you !
Mostly it feels like pot luck though , and confidentially: I think it can be such a sticking point - just starting at an unpainted mini and not making a choice.

Usually if this happens to me, and it kinda does quite a bit, I paint what I know the colour should be - green for skin, black for metals and belts, red for weapons and THEN I make the much easier choice of what colours to choose as it's much easier to imagine with all the 'background' blocked in. Yellow tends to be the prime colour for the Bad Moons, so I try to put that somewhere prominent (but not necessarily the largest area).
It might be a longer way of painting, as I tend to correct quite a few errant brush strokes, but at least it is painting and momentum gathering!

I don't know what that last ork is holding in his hand, but it looks like he plans on cooking it!

Great colorful project, very interesting to follow!

^It looks like a chaos elephant with a caterpillar for a trunk and duck feet! Probably best to eat it before it gets too large.

Also, yes, that fellow is fantastic. Very vibrant and quite lovely. :)

The grot looks so forlorn... that mek probably isn't the greatest boss. Really like that one purple pouch on the mek for some reason, couldn't tell you why.
