Don Hans Chaos Army Gallery

A Fiend Factory Werewolf (FF19) added to the unit. It was from the first Citadel Release from 1979 (I think)

He looks great. I painted this model recently and was kind of disappointed with the end result. I wasn't sure how to go about painting it and in the end went 'fur, pants and done' the mix/variety of colour you get into the paint job looks brilliant. I also love the spider you painted earlier in the thread. Top work!

Thanks Rob! The werewolf will be part of the Beastmen unit so added a few colors to make it more chaotic /Hans

Looks so awesome ! when my warband I finished , I will have to take the short drive to Sweden and get a game with you.

Wow ! Very impressive !!! Les lecteurs Français me comprendront : Je suis sur le cul !

Great stuff as always Don! Very inspiring & your work makes me want to paint.

Nice stalagmites on the chaos altar; what did you use for those?

Thank you Porkaborg, Niko, Stone Cold Lead, Naagruz and Darkblade

Naagruz: The stalagmites are from a GW basin kit (don't remener which one)

Thanks!/Hans

Finally finished another of the Citadel C38 Beastmen - The Owlman.

Thanks/Hans

So imaginative, I especially love the altar and the shrine out of the new additions. What would you cite as your inspiration for these?

Thanks Con-fusion, Blue in VT & Bane!

Well - not sure. Maybe just letting my imagination run wild and likely a bit of Ian Miller illustrations.

Thanks again!

Allright! Got some painting done!

Turing my focus back to the Chaos Dwarfs for a while so here is two new ones: Origol The Horrible and The Master Of Madness from the Chaos Dwarf Renegades box.

Origol was a pure please to paint. It was one of those minis where everything just worked out with no hassles and he is one of my favorites in the army so far. I love this kind of simple miniatures: A head, a beard and armor (and well a Trident to). It's all you need.

Next out is a Citadel Runequest Unicorn Broo. Cool!

Did a few minor updates to my Chaos Sorcerer on Lizard Steed as well:

Thanks! /Hans

Your work continues to amaze and astound me, I absolutely love how unique it all is. The green hue to the recent miniatures really complements the base too and unicorn beastman is totally ace too.

Damn Hans,

No superlatives can describe those models ;)

I love the Unicorn Broo, I have an obsession with Broo and have set out to collect the whole set...... let's see how long that takes! I have the Unicorn though

I really like what you've done with the C21 Undead Cavalry model, the Lizard was always an oddity in the range, but as it featured in the Vengeance of the Lichemaster artwork by Mr Blanche it is iconic in its weirdness :?

Loving your work and your style of progressive layering is a technique I really appreciate.

Looking forward to more eye candy soon ;)

Gary

I love all of them, but especially the first chaos dwarf. He looks like he just trudged out of the briney depths of the sea!

So you base coat white and then apply a multitude of thinned paint over the entire mini? Or on selected areas? Could I bug you for a little tutorial?

Your painting style is truly unique & I just can't resist asking how you do it!
