Okay, this Big Momma Wonger (!) was a bloody nightmare, gouges and ravines all over her legs (hail damage

A Heroquest fan, and in Sydney to boot! I live in Parramatta and I've been collecting metal replacements for my heroquest models for some time now - it's also resulted in me 'accidentally' collecting a sizeable orc and goblin army and a vampire counts army too :s it's a dangerous game to be sure!!

Aggro: cheers mate, it has opened up new avenues as far as my collecting and painting goes too ( finally confident painting human skin)
On the update front, I've now finished the 8 orcs and 6 goblins that came with the box.
The light in the shots is a bit too bright and they look a bit more fluorescent than in the flesh/plastic, but here they are
and the heroes assembled

It's amazing how different the figures look when they are 'properly' based, almost makes me want to go back and repaint mine... maybe after I've finished painting my High Elves. And Orcs and Goblins. And Chaos Dwarves. And Vampire Counts. And Empire... oh lordy, what have I done...?? D:
As for that game, I'm not as mobile now since the new addition to our family ( I have a 6 week old son!) but there is a new discount stockist in Parra called the games cube that has tables etc and warhammer till late on Friday nights, I've been wanting to try them out. If you're around I have a fully painted 4th ed. High elves army, we could have a game, take some pics etc, share them here!
Alternatively I have a couple of mates in the area who enjoy the odd game of heroquest, we could use your ( or my) set for a display game! My set isn't fully painted yet though.

I need to get my license (on the L plates finally at 31) and paint up my Night Goblin army then!
Which I plan on doing after I finish this Heroquest project...and the rest of my Squats...and Goffs
I would love to play 4th or indeed any of the old WHFB editions, I never had a fantasy army till 09 so have only played a few games of 7th.
Most of my infantry is the new kit/BFSP but most of the characters, fanatics etc are all the older minis, including Skarsnik and Gobbla.

After batch painting the greenskins I thought I'd paint some another boobie lady, fresh from the Foundry...
I also fixed up WONGER's cellulite legs

And thanks to Masterwork, I have my Grace Jones mini
As it was one of those rare occasions where the mini was actually well painted when I received it, I didn't bother stripping this one and the weapons, boots, lips and eyes remain (I presume) Masterwork's err...work

Bruno I love it. This is just too good. it does'nt look like an elf anymore and now it's just one tough and mean afro-barbarian beauty.
Beware of the fimir my friend, once you touch one of these guys, you never now what happens next, you already have a genestealer cult and squats, you should know...
I like the axes of the warriors on brass rather than just steel.
