Fun to paint and very satisfying to finally see it completed after all these years!!
Not a massively original colour scheme, but it works and a little less drab than the original box paint job.

You're right that Jorg model does look nicer than the ones I've got floating around in my Bugmans' shame they didn't keep both going!

Managed to pick up a vintage Bugman’s Cart to go with the regiment (they need to be defending/drinking something!!).

Started batch painting on the rest of the regiment. Most I’ve painted as a batch so will see how it goes, can always reduce number if it gets too repetitive…

nice work. one Problem with my Skaven is it's not really easy (or possible) to batch paint when each one is different.. when I get around to some more of my Empire/Battle Masters it'll be a bit easier for that.

Think I should get a bit more variety in the distribution of colours, only the beards are going to distinguish them.
Two minds about the blue gloves too, but wanted the get the colour somewhere clear on those original sculpts…

I have the cart, the re-release but after cleaning and gluing I put it aside, it needs so much filling...
How is yours?

There are rear peg holes which are unused and the barrel required a little filling (you can probably spot the green stuff marks on the photo). Main omission is a large base to fit it on, the original only has a base for the pony…

Quite vivid in the photo(!), hopefully will tone back a little with a pale drybrush and some matt varnish.

Not quite the same but John Pickford did some nice dwarfs for Little Soldier company's "Barroom Brawl" set and includes a very nice flat out drunk dwarf
