Great conversion work. These models rock.
The white paint sceme lets them look like flashy decadent gitz.
My favourite is the one with the girl. Reminds a bit of an 80s Rockstar with his spouse.

I've inadvertently created Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits!!!!

I inadvertently created a miniature Bono earlier this year. Its a disconcerting side cohort effect. Just as long as we dont end up with a Bananrama Escher gang...

Well "Money for nothing" sounds very good for the purpose thoug I'm afraid are more at ease in the MTV folks than amongst the custom kitchen deliveries...

That Mark Knopfler analogy should have struck me, I was raised in that for even longer than miniatures...

No please no, Paul, can I ask you to be careful when using references like this?

It's like igniting a match on a kerosene tank,

first someone will come up with an American dad picture like this :

And then you'll have Seán and myself sculpting and painting Aliens with bananas instead of our "normal" projects

This kind of style reminds a bit of the Escher.....

O.K. then lets put out some old vinyl and start painting

I wonder when Elvis comes back to the painting tables

OH just for the record Jon, your late Brattish extravaganza has made me want to immerse myself in the proper ambiance, I've uploaded the complete discography of Adamt Ant (and his ants), human league, eurythmics and even some Billy Idol (I'm just a "flesh for fantasy" fan) on my Ipod for when I'm working on my confrontation gangs.

Phew...got this nightmare of a figure off the painting table. It was a real struggle to get him done, and not entirely happy with the results, but what's done is done!

I intimately understand the urge to "canvas slash" but from where I am sitting that is a seriously badass model.

It's like the sort of Blanche illustration that regular featured in the books, but never appeared on table.

Love it.

The Flock of Seagulls hair is the job too

I love it, the toad eye lights, the orange wheels, blue springs, definitely not the kind of ideas I'm able to come up with but ideas tha tactually make the model unique and severely bad ass.

Spot-on, I love it precisely because it gives me the same feeling.

Thanks guys! All the feedback is great (and helpful for my ego too!).

Incidentally the orange tyres came from a Google search for custom bike paint jobs...I can't claim
originality ;)

BTW JB...your output is great!

"See Honey ! the one with bionic hand and those totally outfashioned goggles? Lemme correct his make-up with a shot in the face ! Shaved heads are sooo last season"

Before anyone makes innuendos about gearsticks. Let me express my congrats for this excellent vehicle and its equally excellent crew !
Bratt girl is looking tough as her boyfriend. I would have probably got on th eoutrageous make-up side of things on such a girl but considering the Sutter Dukes are quite reasonable on that front, I think it's better this this way. Still more variations on the Bratt theme and still as enjoyable.

It was a deliberate decision JB; I went for natural hair and more dowdy colours on the girls. I see Brats like cockerels or peacocks - they're bright and gaudy while the girls (chickens / peahens) are dull and brown!

But he will shoot last-season's tech in the face anyway ;)

You've been a busy bee  the guys are right, everything looks excellent, and you should be rightfully pleased with yourself. If you dont mind me asking, what was so awful about painting the biker? It looks ludicrously fun, makes me want to make everyone into a biker, including, but not limited to, Orlocks, Arbites, goblins, skeletons, trolls, elves, fimir, dragons and cats. Maybe next year we can do 'The Wacky Races Massacre pt.2: Ultimate Road Hogs'...

By the way, my son wants to join your gang - are there any other requirements apart from outlandish, anti-grav hair...?
