For convenience sake I just quote my PM to Plaiecivile...
Hi,
I have to add one more:
As the Firmir-thing is a cowardly creature with 0 attacks it nees a rider with some ranged attack capabilities, so I would also like to make #195 as well.

NURGLE
030 --- Fimir --- Cowardice, resilient, quadruped, walking head, siamese twin, FP2 --- ---
140 --- Human wizard --- Magic level 2, big ears, manic fighter, powerful legs, bestial face - beast of nurgle, FP1 --- ---
195 --- Dwarf --- Technology (shuriken catapult), rearranged face, bestial face - goat, FP3 --- ---
TZEENTCH
125 --- Dwarf wizard --- Magic level 1, puny, bestial face - goat, enormously fat, FP0 --- ---
180 --- Human --- Technology - missile launcher with super krak shells, scorpion tail - poisonned, bestial face - flamer, walking head, fast, FP4 --- ---
...and here we go:

You really are up for a good start!
It is interesting to see how you figured this one out, the siamese fimir head was one I wanted to build (don't worry I have many other possible choices ;) ), but the shape I imagined it is quite far from where you are going.
Can't wait to see your progress!

Niibl, your conversion base is absolutely excellent, I wouldn't have thought of that myslef but it actually makes more sense than anything I could have thought of. I can't wait to finish BOYL preparations and get working on my entry.

And tonight I give you Tzeentch 585: Dwarf, Technology - plasma pistol, mane of hair, quadruped, FP1.
I enjoyed turning the human head into a dwarf one, I will need to use that method again!
The plasma pistol was a bit tricky to include, I first thought of straping it to the hip, but that did not solve the issue of how does a quadruped use a plasma gun!?
So I added the armor sections on its rear and went for an articulated device that would allow him to operate the plasma gun like a turret.

Part list: arms of the actual chaos knights, legs of a possessed chaos space marine, head of an empire halberdier, torso of the first chaos warriors plastic kit, chaos champion's plasma pistol.

Seing this week Chico's conversion challenge, I decided it was time for me to go back to my desk.
Here is the naked version of:
240 --- Human wizard --- Magic level 1, brightly patterned skin, limb transference - arm grows from back, arm grows from groin, hideous appearance, FP11

So tomorow, time to dress him up!

I like it.
A poke im the eye and a grip to the crotch at the same time.
Don't mess with him in close combat!
The parts were also well selected.
It has the spidery style many of the drawings of chaos mutants have in the books.

I need your support.
Given the current bad weather I did not take new pictures but in priciple the chaos Fimir just has reveived more skin.
Now i am at a point where I would have to decide on how to proceed
I could
1) just finish the double headed Fimir as is
2) add chaos armour and thats it (no arms for a weapon)
3) add a rider-I had the dwarf with his shuriken catapult in mind but I am not sure anymore
4) add a broken palanquin chained to it's back as a reminder of his old glory, now maybe with some nurglings on top instead of below.
What is your opinion?

#1 is the quick solution which allows me to start with the next...I would have to start painting, right? :( so lets skip#1
#2 its ok. Maybe i am just a little bit fed up with skulpting skin. Some spikey armour bits might be a nice change.
#3 was my first intention as the mutations, depending on the order they were aquired, would leave him without attacks.
So a cowardly, literally unarmed chaos champion should have at least some punch but
#4 might reflect the sick humour of the chaos gods much better (maybe he drove the nurglings too hard?)
It will be a challenge though. the chair would be ok but skulpting flimsy nurglings will be a difficult job.

In my opinion, presenting him as a palaquin with some rusty chainmail would be an interesting twist.
As for the riders.... the first edition nurglings would be well suited for the job!
Keep up the good work!

Nice work Plaiecivile! That is one scary dude!

Niibl - Yeah go the palanquin. Put him to good use. Besides, having a palanquin running all over the place in fear during a game would have me in stitches of laughter.

I have just built the basic throne for the palanquin.
Seems like it became a little too big but the original owner once was a full grown Fimir, so It should be somewhat kingsized.
And fluff wise it will also be a bigger burden for the poor champion to bear.
I think I will position the throne as shown in the pictures but I have to think on what to use as filler benath it. Maybe a rotten hay sack?
I also need to get hold of some fine chains to simulate the fixture to the champions body and some nurgly Icons and bits for decorations.
After seeing the current plastic nurglings I might use those instead of Realms of Chaos ones. Much cheaper and more easily to get-and I actually like them.
They also seem to be larger and therefore will fill the big throne much better.

Hey everyone!
Time to wake up, only 2 months left to be part of the first edition of the Bestiary of the Exalted and Unfortunate!

I am personally looking foward to complete 8 champions before the end of the year, so I can say I completed at least 1% of my goal... 8-)

So come on, get started, mix that green stuff and don't tell me you have better things to do!
