Exactamundo. (At least the cat doesn't have clinkers/dags to colour in). Also, I bet she calls the count 'poppet' out of earshot (which is also another name for a Voodoo doll)

I've always known poppet to just be a little doll, not specifically having arcane connotations (although sometimes also used for witchy things along with moment). It's definitely a term of endearment around here.
