A slowly growing Waaagh!

To my eye, the out of focus orc in the forground suggests movement. I think it a good photo of some wonderful figures.

I call the left side of the neck and belly ALMOST done; the hard part will be replicating the same tones and textures on the right one.
I think the green will extend a bit further down, but it will be subtle. And I plan to add a bit of green to the feet, as well.

All of you should know, by now, that I'm the slowest painter and most poring w.i.p.per out there, am I right...?
I've changed my mine about the skin texture and decided to smoothen it out, adding an additional putty skin around the beast's neck.
I think it's now visually more pleasing to the eye and not so detail-heavy as before.

Liked it before, like it now, both versions look very good :) Great color gradients. How did you do all the tiny dots?
Thanks: my aim was to limit the visual "complexity" of the skin I was getting...the colour in the crevices was a bit too dark for the skin to look organic imho.
I did very controlled splashes from a half-loaded old brush; I then used yellow/beige glazes from below in a regular pattern to create some vertical textures (barely visible in the pics).

Really like the change to the skin definitely adds something and helps with the colour change from the green to the flesh tones.
