I can't recall how quickly it dries, here is a river I made for my old 15mm fantasy though using the stuff.
Amazing! Looks like you can mix and add layers over time upto 3mm.Just found Vallejos short vid here, 24hrs and cover to avoid dust. Interesting very interesting. 👍I can't recall how quickly it dries,
I can imagine it can take time to build up and to add affects, but amazing ultra realism though! Just watched that vid and added leaf flock and even bubbles/ripples. Wow.I do recall the above was done in two sessions.
It'll be great, looks like you got the surface technique already! The fact it reflects light like a body of flowing water makes it look realistic even at small scale. Might try some, experiment myself, do ponds, stream etc. Thanks for the heads up!Thank you. If this river comes out anything like that I will be chuffed.
Is it any different to mod podge or acrylic medium though?

The matching up isn't necessarily a problem. The roads could have been made at different times, or resurfaced and repaired?Whilst I wait and take advantage of my wife and daughter being away the weekend (though the Mo In Law is still here), I am making some nw roads.
I have 2 main goals, the first being to make a road that can be used with the river:

And a road that spans the width of the table in as few pieces as possible, turns out that is 2 sections, plus I have some left over.
I have also made these the same width as my existing roads, but as I no longer have the paint used for the original roads I am not sure how well they will match up.

Ah.. bum. Well, I have the utmost faith in your considerable talents!Dirt track roads. Same muddy soil required...
