Sewers.of.estark’s Dungeon Adventurers

While I really should be spending time painting, I decided to go back and take some proper photos of a few player character miniatures I have painted up.

Interesting burden that druid is carrying. I'm guessing the plant in his hand is supposed to be mistletoe? (That's what it looks like to me, anyway.) Between that and the packages slung off his belt his gesture of benediction seems . . . ominous. His might be a blessing I could do without. Lovely set of miniatures! :)

Idid you go with oil paint or is this a gloss varnish? I also like the Druid. Not sure I’ve seen that one before, will have to keep a look out. Love the minstrels stripey hose!

Thanks for the kind words :)

In my opinion it looks like a four leaf clover? To be honest his paint job is one I’d like to go back and redo as I feel my work here is lacking, but with so very much to paint and so little time I think he will stay as is.

More coming soon..

These are all painted with citadel paints, (a mix of hex pots and new) then gloss coated, then matte coated, though it seems I could go a bit heavier on the matte in the future :)

Thanks for the kind words, hope you find the Druid!!

My most recently finished adventurer, an old Heritage figure.

Fantasy 1369 MacDuck with Claymore

Up next on the painting table,, a Heritage Knights & Magick, Knight of King Arthur and an Asgard 15mm Fantasy Monsters Werewolf.

I'm loving some of these models, anyone who puts models on hex bases is okay in my books. Loving your pinstripes again, you've obviously a knack for it and I always think it looks so good. That C09 Dark Elf is a great sculpt and you've done a lovely job on it.

Thanks Eric, it means a lot :) the hexbases are something new to me in the last few years,, ultimately the decision was based on having something that was easily distinguishable on the gaming table. I just wouldn’t say I have much of any skill related to the pinstriping,, just patient and masochistic xD

An Asgard 15mm Fantasy Monsters Werewolf, painted to be something more like a badger/skunk/possum?
Will definitely make a good dungeon pal for my duck..

So you're figuring on using him as a 28mm were badger? (I'm going with badger, personally, though your mileage/kilometereage may vary.) I love it! Great use of scale for an interesting effect. And the paint really sells it. :)

Yeah! I plan on using him within 28mm games. Thanks for the kind words, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out :)
And yes probably badger for me as well, as that was my reference while painting.
