Zog's models

These are some very nicely painted models. Great thread. Does that display cabinet have the option of adding more shelves? I'm sure another set of shelves in there would fit easily.

Thanks guys for the kind words!

On another note, would that be Zog-yes or Zog-no? ^^

Zog-yes please!

They are Ikea Detolf. No "official" way to add shelves but looking online, plenty of people have done it. Looks fairly easy, but I don't think I'd trust it! I'm already worried enough using metal models, but that's just me.

Could you tell us where that egg-shaped, three-legged robot/tank thingy is from? :)

Haha, I've shown that on other forums but forgot about it here. It's the "turret" from the Portal video games. In the game it opens up at the sides, so I could have left it at that, but I added a cut-down lascannon in a lazy attempt at 40k-ifying it :) The toy itself is sold as a "lucky dip" box where you get one of many different colours and either closed-up like this or weapons out. Really cheap, I bought a bunch for my partner one Christmas since she's a big fan of the games with the intention of stealing one and painting it for myself...

Here's a dwarf crossbowman I finished a few weeks ago.

Here's some daemons I thought I already posted, but hadn't!

Nice! You did a good job 40k-ifying it :)

Late reply, but thanks!

Some more chaos fun from Eureka Miniatures.

Bird-faced kid. I might use him as a familiar.

Both together. I like this photo, it is much closer to the colours as they appear in person.

Silly me, I didn't include the photo I mentioned in the last line:

nice. time to check out Eureka minis then...

Do it! Be warned, not every model is shown on their site (I bought these in person) so it might be worth emailing if you're really just interested in 28mm fantasy. Speaking of their site, it looks about the same as it did two decades ago...

I know there are some 2nd edition fans here. Not sure about the orks though, but they're a fun "awkward teenager" phase between earlier and modern GW orks!

i think those are Gorkamorka orks. i quite like them, they're characterful, and better than the modern plastic orks for sure.

Yup, 'course they are :) I have a few more metals to paint. Plenty of the Gorkamorka plastics, too, but they are terrible looking even to me!

Here's a more "forum appropriate" ork.
